About The Client
The client is a three-level general hospital integrating Medical, teaching, scientific research and preventive health care. It is the only prefecture-level hospital among the six “three-level general hospitals” in Yunnan Province. The hospital has built an electronic medical record system with clinical application as the core. The application scale exceeds 1000 terminals. The medical expenses have realized closed-loop tracking management. The medical quality and medical record quality have realized real-time monitoring and management of hospitals, departments and doctors.

Project Features
The system needs to receive the pre-registration requests sent by the patients and add requests from the patients. Because of the large number of patients and all requests need to be uploaded to the application server, there is a high requirement on the stability and responsiveness of the system under high concurrency.
The system needs to be compatible with different bandwidth users and deal with a lot of static resources, therefore requiring a high network bandwidth transmission capability.
The system is deployed in a public cloud platform, and a variety of service components are purchased for this purpose, but the internal work of such components is unknown to the outside world and if it will be a performance bottleneck

Service Value
Automated performance testing tools were used to simulate requests from the Web end.
Solved the problem of files redundancy during the page loading, filtered the repeated static resources and removed some uncommented static resources, thus ensured the loading speed.
Adjusted server configuration parameters, increased the availability of concurrent threads, made full use of system resources and reduced potential performance risk.
The concurrent number of main browsing scenario was increased from initially 2000 before optimization to 10000.
The concurrent number of main operating scenario was increased from initially 250 before optimization to 9000.
